Product Introduction
The Johnson support grid, also known as the Johnson grille or V-shaped wire mesh grid, it is a high-strength and high-precision filtering support component made by welding V-shaped cross-section wire meshes and supporting bars. The structure is either a single component or multiple components, which makes it is easy to assemble. Its self-supporting structure has extremely strong resistance to collapse or expansion, and can easily cope with operations that must bear extremely high loads.
Its cross-section is trapezoidal, with narrower gaps at the top and wider ones at the bottom, uniform mesh openings, stable welding quality, high opening rate, long service life, and high strength, stiffness, and load-bearing capacity. It can be made into various shapes of rigid screening and filtering devices.
Features and Applications
- High structural strength: it is formed by welding V-shaped wire loops and support bars at each intersection point, creating an overall rigid structure. This enables it to have a strong load-bearing capacity and resist high pressure, impact, and vibration. It can still operate stably under a pressure of 10-25 MPa.
- Applied in the chemical/petrochemical industry: It serves as a catalyst support grid, supporting catalyst particles or molecular sieves in equipment such as hydrogenation reactors, adsorption towers, and fixed-bed reactors.
- High filtration accuracy and low clogging: The slot/gap of Johnson support grid are in the shape of an inverted trapezoid, making it difficult for fine particles to get stuck in the gaps and possessing a certain "self-cleaning" ability. The filtration accuracy can reach 20-50 microns, effectively retaining fine catalysts.
- Applied in the filtration and separation industry: It is widely used in solid-liquid separation and solid-solid separation processes in industries such as petroleum, pharmaceuticals, food, and mineral processing, such as dehydration and impurity removal.
- Flexible structural design: It adopts a modular design, which can be made into various shapes such as plates and cylinders, facilitating installation, disassembly, and replacement; compared to traditional porous plates, it has a higher opening rate and the V-shaped wire structure allows for narrower supporting parts, thereby achieving a larger effective filtration area.
- Applied in the water treatment industry: It is used for internal support and filtration in filter tanks and water treatment equipment.
- Corrosion-resistant and long service life: The Johnson support grid is typically made of high-grade materials such as stainless steel 304, 316L, 321, 2205 duplex steel, Hastelloy alloy, titanium alloy, etc., to withstand extreme corrosive environments such as high temperatures (400-480℃), high pressure, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrogen.
- Applied in the mining/paper industry: It is mainly used in screening and filtering equipment that requires wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
