Wedge wire structure
This screen is made by winding and welding metal wires with a trapezoidal cross-section (mostly 316L stainless steel). The mesh gap is smaller on the outside and larger on the inside. Any particles stuck in the gap will be pushed in or flow out with the liquid under pressure, making it less prone to clogging.

"Scraping" effect
Under the high-speed scouring of the slurry, the sharp edges of the wedge wires will produce a unique "scraping" effect, forcing the material to stratify and achieving a separation effect finer than the mesh gap size.

High strength and durability
The sieve bend screen's entire structure is made by full welding, so that it has high overall strength and rigidity, it can also withstand high-pressure impact and is very durable. The screen's surface can be used in both directions after wear, further extending its service life.

High filtration accuracy and large processing capacity
The filtration gap can typically reach 50μm or even smaller, the processing capacity of a single unit can reach 35-50 cubic meters per hour, with high efficiency.

No moving parts
Apart from the feed pump, the entire device has no other moving parts, resulting in a low failure rate and easy maintenance.
Applications
Starch processing
It's the most common application of sieve bend screen, widely used for fiber washing, separation and starch recovery in the production of starch from corn, wheat, potatoes, etc. The sieve bend screen is a key component for ensuring the quality and extraction rate of starch.
Fruit and vegetable juice and wine making
Used for clarification of fruit juice and fruit wine, removing coarse impurities such as peels, cores, seeds, etc.
