Product Introduction
The resin trap strainer are typically installed on the outlet pipelines of equipment such as ion exchangers and softeners.
When water flow accidentally carries resin particles out of the main equipment, the wedge wire filter element inside the strainer will intercept them, preventing the resin from entering subsequent pipelines or damaging the precision equipment such as pumps.
Its core component is a wedge wire filter element, which is made by precisely welding stainless steel wires with a trapezoidal cross-section onto a support rod. This structure forms an outer-wide and inner-narrow V-shaped gap. The V-shaped gap not only ensures high filtration accuracy and low pressure drop but also provides high mechanical strength and is less prone to clogging, effectively safeguarding the safe operation of downstream equipment.
Applications
This strainer is installed at the outlet of the mixed bed and anion/cation exchangeers in the power plant, to capture the lost resin and prevent it from entering the boiler or precision instruments, thus ensuring the safety of the entire thermal system.
It is used in commercial and industrial softeners, desalinationers, etc., to prevent resin from entering the water supply pipes or damaging downstream valves and pumps.
It is installed at the outlet of activated carbon filters, multi-media filters (such as quartz sand, anthracite filters), or the backwash pipelines of the filters, to intercept the activated carbon particles or filter media that may be lost from the filters.
The resin trap strainer is used to filter resin impurities in the vacuum infusion process of composite materials; in the fields of petrochemicals, food processing, etc., as a precision filter or water distribution device, to protect vacuum pumps and ensure product cleanliness; to achieve uniform water distribution or precision filtration.
